Diá de Acción de Gracias (Thanksgiving) in the tropics

Dave prepared some roasted chickens. We like chicken better than turkey. Shhh…..don’t tell anyone!

Our neighbor Gigi organized a noon -time pot-luck feast!

My plate! A lot of traditional foods from home and some tropical flair too.

We celebrated with our retired neighbors Gigi and Rick, a vacationing couple from Canada, Carrie and Matt, and Edgar, the groundskeeper of our complex.

So much food. We also had a surprise afternoon rain shower.

The girls had school during the day, but we had so much good food that we got to celebrate again in the evening with our new friends from Holland; Angela, Marc, Kaia and Bruce.
