La Feria

Written by Lydia

This is what happens on Wednesdays at La Paz! Different kinds of businesses come here and sell their wares, so you can usually find some friends around. Me and Tess are always begging mama for a treat (like churros or ice cream)!

This is the La Paz Cocina (kitchen). They sell lots of freshly cooked items and fresh fruit smoothies. Lots of fresh things! People like to hang around here.

Remember when I said you can usually find some friends? Well we can almost always find my 5th grade teacher Mr. John and his family. In this photo, Mr. John is in red, his wife Sol is next to mama holding their son Rio, and their daughter Leona is on the field playing soccer.

Speaking of soccer, Tess chose it to be her after-school sport.

Mama and Papa said we should do something active, and I think she’s doing pretty good! You can hear her teacher Miss Kate cheering them in the background.

The cows. They were visiting, so I decided to make them a part of my post. Cows should be special too! Sometimes we see them or maybe some horses lumbering past the classroom window. On the other side of the fence, of course.
