The girls and I visited a beautiful farm in Playa Grande.

Tess on a donkey. I believe the corn is the only reason the donkey is letting her do that.

Lydia learned how to milk a goat. It takes some finesse!

Lydia liked the challenge of handling chickens.

Oxen are big. And powerful. And bony if you ride them bareback.

I had to concentrate on keeping my balance!

The trail ride was a hit but got a little exciting towards the end when my horse and Tess’s horse took off at top speed towards the barn. Tess was screaming and crying, but all I could do was hang on and try to slow my own horse. I was so proud of her for hanging in there and not falling off!
